2008 – present: PhD candidate at University College Dublin, Dublin Ireland
Keyun is doing her PhD at one of world’s leading research centers for cyber crime investigation in School of Computer Science, University College Dublin. She is supervised by College Principle and Dean of Science as well as Director of UCD Centre for Cyber Crime Investigation Prof. Joe Carthy, and co-supervised by Prof. Tahar Kechadi. She is funded by Irish Research Council for Science, Engineering and Technology (IRCSET) and European Aeronautic Defence and Space Company N.V. (EADS). Her research area is a relatively green but rapidly emerging area called Cloud Forensics. She is to address the question of how to carry out digital investigation in the Cloud Computing environments during her PhD. Her research interests are Cloud Forensics, Cloud Crime, Cloud Security, Cloud Computing, Digital Forensics and Cyber Crime Investigation in general. At the moment, she is also working on her edited book “Cybercrime and Cloud Forensics: Applications for Investigation Processes” to be published by IGI Global in 2012.
Keyun also holds a Diploma in Art and Design from National College of Art and Design in Ireland. She is interested in contemporary arts, curating and various visual art languages. Her artworks have a distinctive style and display an individualistic usage of color. She wishes to build art as a part of her professional career.
Keyun is born and bred in Shanghai China and is a world traveler covering over 100 destinations in over 25 countries from 4 continents. She has been a member and national leader of world’s largest student organization AIESEC since 2006. She has been actively participating various global youth projects and conferences since 2005.
Keyun was hired with risk by Intel as the youngest intern in site Pudong Shanghai at the age of 19. After that she spent 7 months in Hannover Germany working full time for Continental Headquarters as an international intern from AIESEC.
She is committed as Chinese ambassador of One Young World (the young Davos) along with fellow young ambassadors from world’s 192 countries to work towards a more sustainable future of the planet and lead her generation. She is also assigned as Convening Ambassador of China by One Young World. She is also a member of the global network for young achievers under 30, Sandbox network.
